Kent women win County Match Week
Kent's women's team came through a closely fought County Match Week to take the title, sealing it with a 3.5-point win over Hampshire in searing heat on the final day. The team now look ahead to the County Finals at the end of July. Source: Kent Golf.
Kent players reach Open Final Qualifying
Several Kent golfers progressed to Final Qualifying for The 154th Open, held across four venues on 30 June with places in the Championship at stake. Among those to come through at Chart Hills were Oliver Daws of Royal St George's and Luke Jenkins of Rochester and Cobham, both finishing four under par. Source: Kent Golf.
Canterbury's Steve Robson wins seniors open
Steve Robson of Canterbury Golf Club won the East of England Seniors Scratch Open at Hunstanton, finishing level par over the two-day, 36-hole event. He edged home by a single shot from Danny Holmes of Sundridge Park. Source: Kent Golf.
English Legends heading to Chart Hills
Kent will host a Legends Tour event this summer, with the English Legends running at Chart Hills from 28 to 30 August. Organisers say the field will include Ryder Cup players and major champions, and tickets are now on sale. Source: Kent Golf.
